Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery (Peony & Rose) reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Once an order is placed with Peony & Rose, you have signified your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

 

 

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 1 week from the date of issue. Any discounts applied to quotes are valid for 1 week from the date of issue.

 

 

Prices

Prices are subject to change at the discretion of Peony & Rose.

 

 

Sample Packs

Sample packs are £5 and include 1 white envelope, 1 colour envelope, 1 colour chart and 1 sample invitation. If more than one sample invitation is required, additional invitation samples can be added at a cost of £1.50 per invitation. Invitation samples are pre-printed and cannot be personalised with names, wedding information, wedding dates, venue illustrations or wedding colours. Samples are posted Royal Mail 2nd class and dispatched within 2-3 business days. Due to variations in printed colour and different batches of card, finished stationery orders may differ slightly from samples received.

 

 

Ordering

A minimum order quantity of 8 applies to table names, table numbers, reserved signs, and menu cards. For seed paper save the date cards, place cards, place tags, and orders of service, the minimum order quantity is 30. Save the date cards, wedding invitations, evening invitations, pocketfolds, vellum jackets, colour envelopes, wax seals, RSVP cards, details cards, thank you cards, and ribbons require a minimum order of 20. For printed stationery, a minimum spend of £45 per order applies to before-the-day items, and a minimum spend of £100 per order applies to on-the-day items, including any additional stationery needed after an initial order. Vellum jackets, pocketfolds, self-adhesive wax seals, colour envelopes, tear-drop paper clips, and ribbons are exclusive to customers ordering invitations from Peony & Rose. Vellum jackets, self-adhesive wax seals, and ribbons will be supplied unassembled and carefully packaged unless the stationery assembly service has been selected.

 

 

Designs

Designs are copyright of Peony & Rose. You, or a third party, cannot copy or reproduce designs in any part or way. Designs that feature small parts and decorations are not suitable for children. The following items are handmade so variations between each item will occur: self adhesive wax seals, vellum jackets, embossing, deckle edging, plantable seed paper, and silk chiffon ribbon.

 

 

Silk Chiffon Ribbon

Peony & Rose supply bias cut silk chiffon ribbon which features occasional splices along its length. Ribbon has a raw edge, is 2cm wide, and supplied cut to length, ready for you to assemble. Ribbon is handmade and slight colour/size variation may occur from ribbon to ribbon. As silk is a natural fibre, there may be small imperfections in the weave.

 

 

Colours

Screen colours may differ from printed results. If a colour swatch is provided, every effort will be made to match it closely; however, due to the nature of the printing process, slight colour variations may occur between different print runs and printers. As a result, the colour of your stationery may differ from samples you receive. Larger stationery items (exceeding A3 size) and those printed on plantable seed paper are produced using different printers than standard wedding stationery, which may result in colour discrepancies. The colour of self-adhesive wax seals and silk chiffon ribbons may vary from what is displayed on your device, and batch-to-batch variations are possible.

 

 

Card Stock

Our materials include 300gsm warm white Italian textured card for all standard printed stationery up to A3 size, handmade seed paper embedded with wildflower seeds for A6 plantable save-the-date cards, and larger wedding signs are printed on smooth white board. Translucent vellum paper is available for vellum jackets, while 150gsm textured white paper is used for inside pages of orders of service. Card samples are available for purchase at £5. Colour can vary between different batches of the same card/paper stock. Refunds are not available if you are unsatisfied with the card stock upon receipt of your order.

 

 

Plantable Seed Paper

Due to the nature of seed paper and it's uncoated, uneven surface, imperfections in print may occur. This is a feature of printing onto seed paper and refunds will not be given. For best germination results, seed paper should be planted within 2 years. Germination cannot be guaranteed.

 

 

Envelopes

Blank white envelopes are included with all save the date, invitation, RSVP card, and thank you card orders. Upgrades to colour envelopes are available. Envelopes will be wrapped and packed separately alongside save the date, invitation, RSVP card and thank you card orders.

 

 

Payment

Full payment in (£) pound sterling is required to secure your order. Accepted payment methods are cheque or bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to Peony and Rose. For payment via bank transfer, details will be sent to you once you have placed your order.

 

 

Supply of Information

To minimise amendment and the need for reproofing, the wording supplied for wedding stationery must be your final wording with correct content. This includes spelling, spacing, dates, timings and grammar. The information to complete on-the-day stationery orders must be supplied at least 6 weeks before your wedding (unless otherwise agreed). It is your responsibility to ensure this information is with Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery within this time line. Approval to print on-the-day stationery must be received by Peony & Rose no later than 4 weeks before your wedding (unless otherwise agreed). This allows time for production and delivery. Failure to do so risks you not receiving your stationery in time for your wedding and Peony & Rose will not be held responsible.

 

 

Venue Illustrations

The digital image you supply for your venue illustration must be your own photograph (N.B. we cannot work from old photographs that have been scanned). Due to copyright laws we cannot work from images taken from the internet, including social media unless you receive written permission from the copyright owner. Your photograph should be a clear, face on view of your venue with the building as the main feature. We use Photoshop to transform your photograph into a watercolour style illustration. As such, details cannot be added to your illustration if they were not captured in the photograph you supplied. Once your illustration has been created, only simple changes can be made (e.g. brightening the colours). Included in the cost of your stationery is 1 complimentary illustration. Additional illustrations are chargeable at £25 each. Your illustration will be created once full payment has cleared.

 

Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs and illustrations are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of Peony & Rose. You may not copy, download, edit, reproduce, share, or extract any part of the artwork, including individual design elements. Artwork must not be uploaded to or used with AI platforms or image generators without prior written permission.  It is expressly prohibited to scrape, copy, use, or employ any of the content on this website for the training of, or supplying of content to, any artificial intelligence program or machine learning technology of any kind, including technologies capable of generating works in the same style.

 

Proofs

Proofs are free and sent as a digital PDF via email using the wording supplied and colour and design agreed in your order. Prices include colour changes and wording changes. You are responsible for checking the proofs for all content, including layout, sizing, colour, dates, timings, spellings, spacing and grammar. Peony & Rose do not offer a proof reading service. If proofs are approved by yourself with errors and are subsequently printed, Peony & Rose takes no responsibility. If replacements are required, these will be charged for in full. On review of your proofs, if any changes are required, all changes must be listed clearly in an email to sophie@peonyandrose.co.uk.

 

 

Lead time

Once your order has been confirmed, and full payment has cleared, Peony & Rose will contact you within 1 business day for all of your wording and colour details. Once Peony & Rose has received this information, a digital PDF proof of your personalised wedding stationery will be sent to you within 1 week. Once you have approved your proofs, your stationery will be printed. Before-the-day stationery will be dispatched within 2 weeks (plus an additional 1 week if the stationery assembly service, seed paper, embossing, or deckle edge stationery has been ordered). On-the-day stationery will be dispatched within 4 weeks (plus an additional 1 week if the stationery assembly service or deckle edge stationery has been ordered). In some circumstances these timings may alter due to unforeseen circumstances, if this is the case, Peony & Rose will keep you updated on your order. Throughout the year, Peony & Rose will close for annual leave and will include closed dates on the front page of the website. It's important to note that this will affect timelines.

 

 

Postage & Packing

All orders are delivered Monday - Friday. Delivery is tracked and will require a signature to provide proof of receipt. Delivery to mainland UK addresses is £6.95 (this excludes the highlands and islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands). Peony & Rose take extreme care in packing your stationery. In the unlikely event your parcel suffers damage, please write ‘damaged’ when signing for the parcel and report this to Peony & Rose within 24 hours via email. Failure to do so will impede any claim that is made and will mean that Peony & Rose cannot replace your items free of charge. If ordering on-the-day stationery alongside save the date cards and invitations, on-the-day stationery will be completed and dispatched at a later date once you have confirmed your guest list. Occasionally parcels are delayed in transit due to circumstances beyond our control. Royal Mail, Parcelforce and DPD delivery timelines are estimated and not guaranteed. Customers should allow extra time for delivery and postal delays when ordering.

 

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Silk chiffon ribbon and self adhesive wax seals are handmade to order. The colour, quantity or style cannot be changed once your order has been agreed and payment has been received. Orders for silk chiffon ribbon and self adhesive wax seals cannot be cancelled or refunded, neither will refunds be made for colour discrepancies. As your wedding stationery is personalised and tailored to you, cancelled orders following the approval of the final proof can not be refunded. If you decide to cancel your order once design work has started and proofs exchanged, a 50% refund will be issued. Peony & Rose reserves the right to cancel an order at any time. In the event of an order cancellation after proofs have been exchanged, all artwork will remain the exclusive copyright of Peony & Rose. Unauthorised use or sharing of the artwork constitutes a violation of copyright law, and Peony & Rose reserve the right to pursue legal action.
